Part – Time Data Entry Clerk (Highlands County)

The Healthy Start Coalition of Hardee, Highlands and Polk Counties is seeking a data entry clerk for a part-time position (10 – 15 hours weekly) to support the Maternal, Infant and Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) program grant. This position provides clerical support to the MIECHV and Nurse-Family Partnership (NFP) team. Essential skills required include experience utilizing computerized data entry equipment and various word processing, spreadsheet and file maintenance programs to enter, store and/or retrieve information as requested or otherwise necessary and summarizes data in preparation of standardized reports. Graduation from high school and 1 – 2 years of progressively responsible related experience, or any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Part – Time Position Available

BSN Nurse Supervisor (Highlands County)

The Healthy Start Coalition of Hardee, Highlands, and Polk Counties is seeking a BSN registered nurse for a part-time (approximately 7 – 10 hours a week) position supervising the Maternal, Infant and Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) program grant http://www.flmiechv.com/. The program model used is the Nurse-Family Partnership (NFP) http://www.nursefamilypartnership.org/ which is offered to first-time pregnant moms in Highlands County. Pregnant moms are enrolled prior to 28 weeks of pregnancy and remain in the program until the child reaches the age of 2. The Nurse Supervisor will oversee the work of two registered nurse home visitors based in Highlands County. Each nurse carries a caseload of 25. The nurses are based at the Hanson House on Sparta Road in Sebring.

Qualifications for NFP Nurse Supervisor

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required.
  • Master’s Degree in Nursing or closely related field preferred.
  • Current nursing license (in good standing).

Experience (desired)

  • Worked in public/community health, including home visitation.
  • Provided maternal/child health services, particularly in a community setting.
  • Program management and one – on – one supervision.
  • Worked with diverse populations, communities, and organizations.
