October is Safe Sleep Awareness Month!

Sudden Unexpected Infant Death (SUID) is heartbreaking and can happen in any family regardless of income, race/ethnicity, education, or the community in which they live. SUID is often associated with preventable unsafe infant sleep practices and environments. Babies should always be put to sleep on their backs, alone, in their own crib or bassinet; with no bumpers, toys, pillows, quilts, comforters, or other soft surfaces in the crib. Please remember the ABCs of Safe Sleep: Alone, Back, Crib!
